General English

WLC General English courses are designed for adults and competent teenagers who want to use English both accurately and fluently. Grammar and vocabulary are taught and explained thoroughly and all four language skills are developed systematically.

The aims of this course are to encourage students to analyze the systems of language in use, to expose them to a variety of challenging and interesting text types in the listening and reading activities. Activities are personalised at every opportunity to give the students a chance to talk about them and to learn about their friends. At the end of every unit there is a review section to summarize what has been taught.

Communication games and role play activities are used in lessons to create a fun way of learning with usable formal and informal language relating to the world today.

The WLC General English course uses interesting, modern international books plus supplementary material created by WLC’s own teachers collected from extensive teaching experience in Indonesia.

Certificate

Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate.
